"Our Mission is to educate and empower the youth and families within our community through mentorship and ministry."
By planting a seed of love and faith we hope to bring about a healthy and positive change within our local and connecting communities. The Living Stone, creating a Community within the Community, for the Community. We plan on connecting individuals and families to The Source, other families, and so many other helpful resources within our community.

Purpose
Our purpose is to share God's Word, to demonstrate God's love, to teach and live by positive principles, to serve our community, and to help connect individuals, families, and communities to our main source "Jesus Christ" and other helpful resources within our community.

For the Bible says,
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." Matthew 28:19-20

Greetings! I am Rawlisa Smith the President and Founder of The Living Stone and A Chosen People. I am a single mother of one son, and I was introduced to Christ at a very young age. I am always excited to share with others my decision to make a choice to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It has been my faith in God that has helped me make it this far. Becoming closer to God has given me confidence to accept and believe in myself and the plans that God has for my life. It is my hope and prayer that every event we host and/or partner to participate in, will draw us closer to God and allow us as a whole to serve our community in love and truth. Hopefully our service will help the youth and families within our community realize what power they possess. Hopefully focusing on the positive will bring about a positive change within their life and within our communities. It's dunamis power that God has made available to all of us and freedom He promised us as we live and walk according to His will and our purpose in Christ Jesus.

Our partner, Cotton Melody Productions, is a local production company led by their founder, Ishmael Cotton is based out of the City of Marrero, LA. Cotton Melody Productions Inc. "CMP" mission, "Creating God Pleasing Services for Creatives."
CMP desires to impact the community through faith and exposure it to ministry excellence.
The Living Stone and A Chosen People believes that CMP has been anointed and appointed to share God's word in and through the Ministry of Music.
